Save and return to specific views

Found the perfect angle on a rooftop, a stockpile, or a property corner? Saved Views lets you bookmark that exact spot — camera angle and all — and jump right back to it any time, or hand it to someone else with a link or a QR code. No more hunting for the same view twice.

What a saved view remembers

When you save a view, it captures the whole moment, not just a flat screenshot:

• The camera angle, position, and zoom you're looking at.
• Which view you're in (2D Map, 3D Model, Point Cloud, Ground View, and so on).
• Which flight date (scan) you're viewing.
• Your current units (feet or meters).

Open a saved view later and everything snaps back exactly the way you left it.

Save the view you're looking at

Saved Views lives on desktop, in the viewer's top toolbar.

1. Frame the site the way you want it — orbit, pan, and zoom to the exact view.
2. Click the star icon in the top toolbar to open the Saved Views panel.
3. Type a short name (like "North roof edge" or "Main stockpile"). If you skip it, we'll number it for you.
4. Click Save (or press Enter). A quick confirmation tells you it's saved.

Tip: Saving is available when you're signed in to your dashboard. On a read-only demo or a shared link you can still open, copy, and QR any views that are already there.

Jump back to a saved view

Open the star panel and you'll see the project's list of saved views, each with its name, who saved it, and how long ago. Click any one and the viewer flies straight back to that exact spot.

Because saved views are shared at the project level, everyone on your team sees the same list — so a view one person frames is a view the whole crew can find.

Share a saved view

Every saved view has two share buttons right next to it:

• Copy link (the copy icon) — copies a link that reopens that exact view. A green check confirms it's on your clipboard, ready to paste into an email or message. Great for "look at this corner."
• QR code (the QR icon) — pops up a scannable code. Point a phone at it to open the same view on the spot — handy in the field or in a meeting.

The link reopens your exact view, but it doesn't hand out new access on its own — whoever you send it to still needs permission to open the project (their access code or a share link).

Tidy up

Made a view you no longer need? Use the trash icon on any view you created to remove it (admins can remove any). Everyone else's saved views stay right where they are.
