Explore points of interest

Some maps have points of interest: labeled pins your mapping team places on the spots that matter. Each can carry a photo or short video, a description, and a jump to the best view of that spot.

Where you'll see them

Points of interest appear wherever they've been added; you don't set them up. They show as teardrop pins on the 2D Map and labeled tags over the 3D views, in the project's accent color.

• On the 2D Map, hover a pin to see its name.
• In a 3D view, each pin's label carries the point's name.

The same pins appear on the map, in the 3D views and in an embedded map on a website.

Open a point of interest

Click (or tap) a pin to open its card. Depending on what your team attached, it can show:

• A photo, or a clip from your property's flyover, like an orbit of the house. Press Play and it opens in a small player over the map, with sound. Nothing plays or downloads until you do.
• A category tag and the point's name.
• A description: what it is, what to look at, what changed since last time.

To close the card on the 2D Map, click the X or elsewhere on the map. In a 3D view, click the same pin again.

From a clip to the full flyover

The player and the card each have Open in the flyover, which switches this page to the flyover at that clip and moment. Back to the map returns you to the view you left.

Trail stops can carry a clip too. On the map, a stop's card shows it the same way. During a ride, the card shows Play clip when the ride reaches it; the ride never starts a clip on its own.

Jump straight to the best view

Many cards end with an explore link, like Explore in 3D, Open the 360° view or Watch the flyover. It opens that spot in that view, already framed, in a new tab.

Not the same as the "orbit" pin

The 3D toolbar's Point of Interest tool is different: a target icon that spins the camera around a spot you pick. For it, and for pins you drop yourself, see Drop pins and add notes.

Tip: Share the project link and a partner, buyer or board member can click through the highlights, with nothing to install.
