Explore Ground View 360 and the point cloud

Two views give you a more immersive way to experience your site: Ground View puts you inside 360° photos taken on the ground, and the Point Cloud lets you rotate and recolor the full-density scan.

Ground View (360° panoramas)

Ground View places eye-height 360° panoramas — captured during the mapping flight — onto your map, so you can stand where the camera stood and look in every direction.

1. Open the Ground View (360) tab.
2. On the map, you'll see 360° pins marking each panorama (where several sit close together they group into a cluster that shows a count). Click (or tap) a pin to drop into that spot.
3. Drag to look around — it's a full spherical view, so you can turn a complete circle and look up or down.
4. Scroll (or pinch on touch) to zoom in and out.
5. Jump between nearby panoramas to walk the site without leaving your desk.
6. Use the built-in zoom and fullscreen buttons on the panorama for a bigger, closer look.

Tip: Ground View pairs beautifully with the 2D Map — the pins show exactly where each shot was taken, so you always know where you're standing.

Point Cloud

The point cloud is the full-density 3D scan — millions of individual measured points you can spin, recolor, and slice.

Moving around

• Orbit — hold left-click and drag.
• Pan — hold right-click and drag.
• Zoom — scroll in and out.
• Recenter — press R, or double-click a point to re-center there.
• Fly mode — press F to fly through the cloud with W A S D (hold Shift for a speed boost); scroll adjusts your flight speed.

Recoloring the points

Use the color-mode controls in the bottom toolbar (or the number keys) to reveal different data:

• 1 — RGB (true color)
• 2 — Intensity
• 3 — Height (color-coded elevation)
• 4 — Return Number
• 5 — Classification (e.g. ground vs. vegetation)
• 6 — Trajectory

Slicing and inspecting

• Clip — isolate a section of the cloud to focus on one area.
• Profile — take a cross-section to read heights and shapes along a line.

On a phone, the Point Cloud tab offers a download link rather than rendering in-browser — open the project on a laptop, desktop, or tablet to explore it interactively. Everything you measure here saves automatically and shows up in the other views too.
