Manage, share & export your measurements and notes

Every distance, area, pin, and note you create lands in the results panel — the list docked on the left side of the viewer. This is your control center for tidying up, sharing with teammates, and getting data out.

Open the panel

When you have at least one item, a small count pill sits at the top-left. Click it to open the full panel. Each item is a card showing its type (an icon for distance, area, pin, note, or POI), its value, and — for lines — the compass bearing, and — for areas — the perimeter.

Tidy up your view

• Show / hide one item: click the eye icon on its card.
• Show / hide everything: use the toggle-all control at the top of the panel.
• Jump to an item: click a card to fly the camera (or recenter the map) to it.
• Delete: remove any item you no longer need.
• Coordinates & labels: toggle whether coordinate readouts and on-scene text labels are shown, to reduce clutter.
• X-ray (3D views): keep markers faintly visible through hills and buildings so a note behind a structure is still findable.

Switch units anytime

Open Settings (gear/sliders icon) and pick Imperial (ft, acres, yd³) or Metric (m, ha, m³). Everything — on-screen labels and the panel — relabels instantly.

Share and track notes with your team

Notes carry a bit more than a label:

• Visibility chip — shows whether a note is Shared (visible to the client), Internal, My team, or Private. Depending on your role you can toggle a note between shared and private.
• Status chip (a mini punch-list) — advance a note through Open → Answered → Resolved so everyone can see what's still outstanding.
• Comments — open a note's thread to reply back and forth about that exact spot.

Notes made in a different view (say, on the 3D model while you're on the map) appear in a separate cross-viewer section, marked read-only there so you always know where they originated.

Export your data

Click the download icon (tooltip: Save measurements to file) to open the export dialog. Pick one or more formats:

• GeoJSON — full detail, coordinates, and properties; opens in most GIS tools.
• KML — opens in Google Earth.
• CSV — spreadsheet-friendly rows.
• DXF — for AutoCAD and other CAD software.

Choose your formats and export — the files download straight to your device, tagged with today's date.

Tip

The panel starts docked (just a count pill) so the view stays clean. Docking and unit choices stick as you switch tabs, so you don't have to reset them each time.
