Capture and revisit screenshots

The viewer's Screenshot button saves a picture of exactly what you're looking at, for an email, a report or a message. A built-in gallery keeps every shot.

Take a screenshot

1. Set up the view you want.
2. Click Screenshot (the camera icon) in the viewer toolbar. On a phone, it's in the ⋯ menu.
3. The current view is saved right away.

It works from any view: the 2D aerial map, the 3D Model or 3D Mesh, the point cloud, or Compare. Whatever is on screen is captured.

Tip: In Compare, one click captures both sides as two images, labeled left and right, for a before-and-after.

Revisit your saved shots

Every screenshot lands in the screenshot gallery. Open it with Screenshots (the stack of pictures) in the toolbar or the ⋯ menu. Its number is how many shots you've taken.

The gallery opens on the right as a grid of thumbnails. Each thumbnail shows:

• The view it came from (2D Map, 3D Model, Point Cloud and so on)
• The time you took it
• The quality setting at the time

Click a thumbnail to open it full size. Step through with the on-screen arrows or the Left and Right arrow keys, and press Esc to close.

Download or keep them

• Download one image (a PNG) from its thumbnail or the full-size view.
• Download All bundles every shot into one ZIP file.
• Delete a shot with the trash icon, or Clear to empty the gallery.

Screenshots last for your current visit. Tick Save in the gallery to keep your most recent shots (up to 10) in your browser for next time.

Tip: Screenshots are pictures for sharing a look, not measured records. For real numbers, use the measure tools.

Ask us to print a view

Signed in to your dashboard, on your own project, use Request a print… in the viewer toolbar. On a phone, it's in the ⋯ menu.

It sends us a picture of the view on screen, plus the view itself, so we can open exactly what you saw.

Choose a wall map, or a 3D relief model (in beta) from a 3D view. Pick a size and add any notes. We reply by email with options and a quote.
